Starting a tour at the island of Aphrodite, the first thing you see is Adamas,a coastal village of 1000 inhabitants being the picturesque port of Milos. From your entrance in this stunning natural bay (the second largest in the Mediterranean), you will be enchanted by the spectacular seaside village that is full of nightlife and fun, especially during summer months.

The heart of the village is the most beautiful spot, since retains the traditional character of the Aegean with beautiful houses, narrow alleys, small squares and several churches. Adamas is the center of touristic and economic life of the island with numerous shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. Also at the port there are anchored numerous vessels and boats, many of which are for rent, to help you explore the marine and coastal wealth of our island. At this spot, there is a taxi rank and a bus stop too.

At Adamas you will be able to see the mining museum with exhibits of all types and colors of rocks from the regular centuries of mining activity on the island. Also it is worth seeing the church museum in the church of Agia Triada, which is located in the center of town and it is the largest and oldest church on the island (1600 AD). You should not also forget to visit the church of Saint Charalambos that is located on the highest point of Adamas.
